Key Account/Sales Executive
Responsibilities:
- Meet clients regularly, find new business, and manage key accounts.
- Understand customer needs and suggest solutions that add value.
- Work with Customer Service and Operations to arrange shipments.
- Help plan and run marketing activities.
- Keep track of market trends and daily updates.
- Prepare sales and profit reports.
- Follow up on payments from customers.
- Maintain good relationships and handle client concerns.
- Take on any other tasks assigned by the management or superiors.
Requirements:
- Possess at least SPM or diploma in Marketing / Business or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in sales, key account management, or a related role.
- Proven track record in sales (ideally within the logistics or transportation industry).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work well under pressure.
Import & Export Declaration Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant import/export declarations to prevent shipment delays and avoid regulatory penalties.
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments, customers, shipping lines, and government authorities to support smooth logistics operations.
- Monitor and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Prepare, review, and submit all required documentation in accordance with relevant regulations and timelines.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new opportunities to expand service offerings.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM qualification; higher education is an advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, or import/export operations preferred.
- Familiarity with Malaysian customs regulations, shipping protocols, and international trade compliance.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for interfacing with customers, government agencies, and shipping partners.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities to handle shipment-related and clearance issues.
- Able to perform under pressure, multitask, and meet strict deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all declarations and documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with the ability to generate operational reports.
- Willing to work in Port Klang.
- Fast learner with the ability to follow instructions and adapt quickly.
Customer Service Assistant – Logistics
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Support the Marketing Team in preparing quotations for new clients and fostering long-term business relationships.
- Source and verify competitive rates from suppliers, including services such as LCL, FCL, Conventional, RORO, Air Freight, Warehousing, Transport, etc.
- Prepare accurate quotations efficiently—ideally within the same day upon CEO’s confirmation.
- Follow up with clients after sending quotations to secure shipments.
- Track and monitor shipment progress until completion, ensuring a seamless process for the customer.
- Liaise with Government Agencies for import/export permit requirements involving new commodities.
- Update and circulate Carrier Own Container (COC) rate lists to the team on a monthly basis.
- Prepare costing sheets and input updated quotation details into the Smart Freight System for every shipment.
- Review invoices for cash-term clients prior to submission to the Accounts Department.
- Follow up with customers to ensure timely payment collections.
- Coordinate with the Import Team on warehouse stock movements and cross-check vendor invoices.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM qualification.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, email, etc.)
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- A strong team player with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
